When JoAnn Wiltz from Hope For Paws received a call from Sabine Bradley about an injured Huskey, she rushed over to the rescue. Sabine’s friend told Wiltz that they had found the dog wandering through busy roads and brought him inside to safety until help arrived.

Sabine and her friend initially called lost animal pages and shelters in the area but did not have any luck finding Haku’s owner. Haku had many cuts on his legs, which Sabine thinks could have been from barbed wire.
Despite being lost, alone, and injured, Haku still seemed to be happy and full of energy. On their way to the animal hospital, they stopped for a Puppuccino from Starbucks! Thankfully, none of his injuries were too serious, and it was determined that he would heal just fine with time. After a nice long bubble bath, he was sent to his new foster home at LA Animal Rescue. The animal hospital could not find a microchip.
