Sunny the teeny piglet was found abandoned in a pet carrier in a garage. Luckily, someone unexpectedly found Sunny shaking and barely surviving. It was suspected that someone had stolen this tiny piglet and left her to fend for herself. As you can see in the video, when Sunny was found, she was clearly a newborn piglet and required immediate care. Odds are she wouldn’t have survived on her own if she wasn’t rescued.
Sunny’s rescuer said that it felt so natural to want to help her find safety. Her rescuer slowly let Sunny smell her hand and get used to her before picking her up. After only about 5-10 minutes, Sunny felt comfortable and let her rescuer pick her up and wrap her in a blanket to keep her warm. Her rescuer noticed that Sunny seemed to be getting attached, and was probably missing her mother. After spending more time together, the two of them just clicked and Sunny had found her new foster mom!
These two became inseparable and did everything together, from going for walks outside to even watching the sunset. How adorable!
