Rescue Cat Drools with Happiness After Finding Safe Home

Happy rescue cat enjoys scratches

A little rescue cat named Dolly Parton spent most of her life on the streets. After an estimated ten years of living outdoors, she was frail and required medical attention. Luckily, a kind person found her and decided to help her find a better life. Dolly was transported from Italy, where she was discovered, to Poland. Once she was there, the rescue cat was placed with a foster family.

When she first arrived, Dolly Parton was understandably nervous and scared. She huddled in a corner of the room, trying to adjust to her new surroundings. Fortunately, the friendly resident cat and some of the foster kittens helped her to get settled in.

Once Dolly was feeling comfortable, it was time for her to get healthy. The cat received extensive veterinary care. This included having a lump on her chest removed, several of her teeth extracted, and her inflamed gums treated. After this, she felt much better and began to enjoy spending time with the humans at her new home.

Now, the rescue cat is happy to receive lots of love and attention. She particularly enjoys being scratched behind the ears. However, since her tooth extractions, this sometimes causes the rescue cat to drool. Dolly has settled into a routine with her person where they lounge on the couch together. The rescue cat gets lots of pets and head scratches. In return, she happily drools all over her human.
