A Toronto livestreamer allegedly abused his dog, Peaches, while broadcasting live to an online audience. The man, who streamed under the name Lil Dealy on Kick, was arrested for animal cruelty and Peaches was removed from his care. That part matters. However, he can still legally own animals in the future and continues to stream on the same platform, raising serious concerns for animal safety.
Video footage shows the streamer threatening to kill the dog on camera and making repeated violent statements while Peaches visibly cowered. In other clips, he allegedly struck the dog, who flinched in fear. This was not discipline. It was abuse, recorded and shared publicly. No platform should allow content that threatens or harms animals, and no one who abuses a dog on video should ever be allowed to own animals again.
Toronto Police and Kick must act decisively. Sign the petition now to demand a lifetime ban on animal ownership. Sign the petition now to push Kick to permanently ban this account. Sign the petition now to protect animals like Peaches.
