A horrifying case of animal cruelty has emerged in Middleboro, Massachusetts, where authorities discovered upwards of 27 dead dogs on a woman’s property.
Of the survivors, 17 dogs and two cats crammed into filthy crates in a basement filled with the stench of waste. Some animals were emaciated, struggling to breathe, or completely unresponsive. Two cats were stacked on top of one another in crates, surrounded by empty water and food bowls. In addition to the dogs and cats, authorities also discovered a guinea pig, a turtle, and six horses that were neglected, underweight, and left without regular food or water – saved only by a neighbor who stepped in to feed them.
Police reported that the woman had procured six “casket boxes” and a large freezer, each holding the remains of multiple dogs – clear signs that this brutal treatment was not an accident, but actually premeditated. Shockingly, this is not the first time she has faced animal cruelty charges; she has a past conviction for similar crimes in Michigan.
Please sign this petition to demand an investigation and ban her from living with animals in the future!
