Poland has taken a major step for animals by passing a law to phase out fur farms, once a core part of its economy as the world’s second largest fur producer. This decision will spare millions of animals from confinement and violent deaths. Nearly 50,000 supporters have already backed this petition, sending a clear message that Europe is ready to move on from fur. Now the European Union must follow Poland’s lead and end this cruel industry everywhere. Sign the petition now to demand change.

For decades, foxes, mink, raccoon dogs, and chinchillas were allegedly kept in tiny wire cages, unable to run or dig. Many suffered injuries and distress before being killed for fashion items no one needs. More than two thirds of Polish citizens supported the ban, after seven failed attempts finally succeeded, and over 1.5 million EU residents are calling for the same protection. Sign the petition now, and sign the petition now again, to push the EU to act.
