In 2025 alone, the world’s richest 500 individuals increased their wealth by a staggering 2.2 trillion dollars, while billions of people struggled to afford housing, food, healthcare, and transportation. Total billionaire wealth now sits at around 11.9 trillion dollars. No one needs that much money, especially as inequality accelerates and communities suffer.
