Sweden is currently allowing the slaughter of 486 wild brown bears, which constitute a shocking 20% of the country’s remaining population. This practice, which has already seen more than 150 bears killed in just the opening days, is nothing short of a brutal massacre and poses a severe threat to the survival of the entire Scandinavian brown bear population.
