Petition: Ban UK Dog Owners Who Allegedly Starved Their Pets To Death-Like States

Two dogs in the UK, Wilma and Robinson Crusoe, were found in an appalling state of starvation. Rescuers described them as “bags of bones,” with every rib visible and their bodies so frail they could barely stand or breathe. One of the dogs even collapsed multiple times while struggling to take in air and required a week of intensive veterinary care to survive.

These animals allegedly endured intentional starvation at the hands of their owners. According to Pip Griffin from the Dog Warden Service, these “defenceless creatures” were made to suffer unnecessarily. Although both dogs have now been rescued, their previous owners still pose a threat to other animals if allowed to keep or live with pets again.
