Jennifer Aniston is expanding her efforts to Support animals with the launch of The Clydeo Fund, an initiative aimed at rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need. The launch coincides with the release of her children’s book Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life, inspired by her rescue dog, Clyde. The book is set to be released on October 1st.
Aniston, known for her roles in Friends and The Morning Show, has always had a passion for helping animals. With The Clydeo Fund, she aims to raise awareness about the challenges animal shelters face around the world. “We can help these animals, and we can get awareness out, and help the shelters that are in desperate need of upkeep because they’re falling apart,” she said. “They can’t keep up. And all you see is that we’re euthanizing innocent, beautiful, perfectly, perfectly fine two-year-old dogs, or a puppy, or a litter. I can’t. It’s too much. It’s too many.” The fund will collect donations to assist shelters in rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding forever homes for animals, and Aniston hopes that even small contributions can make a big difference. “It all adds up,” she explained.
Her new children’s book series, inspired by Clyde, encourages kids to explore the world beyond their screens. Aniston hopes that her work, both through the Clydeo Fund and her books, will inspire more people to adopt, foster, or Support animals in any way they can.
