Family Welcomes Fifth Dog After “Foster Fail”

Five dogs sitting in a row

A video posted to the TikTok account @tracyfosterling details how they welcomed a fifth dog into their family. Tracy was fostering the Great Pyrenees pup for ten months. At the end of that time, they needed to decide whether to adopt the pup or let her go to her new family. However, after the sweet foster dog bonded with the humans and other canines in the house, the family could not say goodbye.

Text in the video reads “We have officially foster failed with her… making her our 5th dog.” The term “foster fail” refers to a dog’s foster family deciding to keep them permanently, rather than having them be adopted into a new home. In the adorable video, the Great Pyrenees can be seen snuggling and playing with their new humans and furry siblings. Now, she is the fifth dog in this adorable family!
