While some pets are treated like a member of the family – sometimes even better – by some pet parents, unfortunately in some cases, pets are not given the ample attention and love they deserve. There may be many factors that lead a pet parent to have to give up their furry best friend, but when this happens, many pets become homeless and are left to fend for themselves without food or shelter.
This is the case with the adorable pit bull featured in this video. After being abandoned by her owners, this little pup sat on a sand dune for weeks crying unable to understand why her owners left her or what her future would hold.
Luckily, thanks to the amazing pet rescue organization, Hope For Paws, this sad story was given a happy ending. This video shows the incredible rescue that lead this very special pup to a new life, all the result of a wonderful organization that refused to give up. Pet homelessness is more common than you may know, but thankfully more and more animals are being rescued, like this beautiful pit bull, and given the chance to find a new loving pet parent all because of people like the Hope For Paws crew.
I know someone who had to put down a perfectly sweet and healthy pit because she couldn’t keep it in her complex (where she moved in a hurry due to personal financial stress. don’t judge.) and she couldn’t find a home. Maybe something like that happened with this little baby. We really just have to strive to change the mindset about these awesome dogs.
