Lotus Chips [Vegan]

LIKE OGP ON FACEBOOK :
These chips are extremely easy to make, but their exotic looking appearance would complement any kind of buffet. Best served with hummus but any other dip would certainly do too.

These look very cool, but I don\'t understand step 5, where it says "bake them over a high heat for 3-4 minutes." Since I was told in step ! to preheat my oven to 160, I\'m going to assume I\'m not baking anything at a high heat in step 5. Do you mean saute? Or microwave? What is the intent of this step? Thanks!

Confused too. In step 4- Heat the oil in a pan. Oil is never mentioned after that. What do I do with the heated oil? It\'s just sitting there in the pan on the stove.
