Combining my journalism background and passion for animal rights, I aim to inform, illuminate and inspire our human species to be better stewards to our Earth and all of its furry, finned and four-legged friends. There is no cage, tank or factory farm I won’t tackle to give a voice to our fellow animals. Of course, when there’s an adorable puppy video that the world just needs to see, you can bet I'm wagging my tail to share it with you too. Read more about Amanda Lindner Read More
For animal rescuers, some stories are truly heartbreaking, which makes such work ever more important and needed in the world. This was the case for S.N.A.R.R Animal Rescue Northeast, who recently came across a five-week-old puppy subjected to some of the worst cruelty anyone can image. Investigators believe that acid was poured over the pup’s face, injuring him so badly that both of his eyes needed to be removed. The acid burned off part of his nose, whiskers, and injured his lip as well. Despite his condition, this little dog is simply grateful to be alive and now, he needs a family that will give him the life he deserves.
It’s absolutely heartbreaking that anyone could harm an innocent animal in this way, but we’re grateful that rescuers like those at S.N.A.R.R. are there to offer a glimpse of kindness for a dog that has known only cruelty in his short life. Rescuers are hoping Einstein will find a home where his family will not be gone for long hours and can handle the challenges of caring for a blind puppy.
