Animals Lebanon is a non-profit organization located in Beirut that is dedicated to protecting, rescuing, and rehabilitating animals of all types. The above video showcases one of the successful rescue stories made possible by the group.
After a wild jackal was found injured, a team of volunteers with the organization dedicated their time and energy to rehabilitate him back to health. As we can see in the video, the jackal is remarkably tame around his rescuers, and he walks into his carrier freely on his own with minimal encouragement. Perhaps he knew he was about to be released back to the wild, and by the way he joyfully bolts out of the carrier into the lush forest, we can see he is truly grateful to be back at home!
