What could be more fun than taking a refreshing dip in the harbor with your best friend?
Well, according to Ben the yellow labrador…nothing!
Locals living in the little Irish town of Tory Island say that this is an almost everyday occurrence. Ben’s owner will take the yellow lab out to the harbor and wait with the excited pup until they spot a familiar dorsal fin in the water. As soon as Ben lays on his cetacean friend, Duggie, he immediately runs down the harbor stairs and plops into the ocean.
Depending on how busy Ben’s schedule is, the pair can be seen taking multiple swims a day with play-time lasting up to three hours. Whenever Ben gets tired, Duggie is always there to make sure his four legged friend gets back to land safely!
Though each companion may lead totally separate lives when apart, this animal odd-couple are inseparable whenever they play with one another.
