The state of the environment is a huge problem. Sometimes it's so huge that you might find yourself saying "what can I do"? But this sort of defeatist thinking is going to be responsible for the eradication of thousands of animal species. I believe that it's every individual's responsibility to take ownership of their actions and do what's best for the people and animals around them.
You may not feel like what you do makes an impact. But remember, every flood starts with a drop of rain. Every major political movement started with one courageous person with an idea. Read more about Taylor Chambers

As animal lovers, it is very difficult to comprehend how a person could intentionally harm or abandon an animal who trusts them with their care. Sadly, incidents like this happen daily across the world. While it can be easy to feel as if you’ve lost hope in humanity’s ability to show compassion for other living beings, don’t give up so quickly!
This story of Pat the motorcyclist and Party Cat is sure to bring a smile to your face and restore your confidence in the kindness of your fellow human beings.
Pat was on his way back to the East Coast after attending the Born Free motorcycle show in California when he came across an abandoned cat on the side of the road near a Nevada gas station.
“I was at this truck stop getting gas, and this little guy just needed help. He was pretty badly burned, so I picked him up and tucked him inside my vest,” Pat told RevZilla.
With that, it was settled that the kitten would henceforth be named Party Cat and join Pat on his journey across the U.S.
We can’t really be sure of what caused Party Cat’s initial injuries. It could have been abuse, or he could have simply gotten stuck in a car exhaust pipe or even engine. Whatever the case, Party Cat probably wouldn’t have made it this far without Pat’s love and care. We’re sure this little kitty will pay it forward to Pat by catching mice in his shop and sending good vibes to all the customers.
Pat isn’t the most common example of an animal rescuer, but this story just goes to show that animal lovers come in all stripes. Don’t judge a book by its cover!
