Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 medium fresh tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 fresh basil leaves
  • salt water
  • pepper

Preparation

  1. Lightly sauté the garlic and the onion in the oil.
  2. Add chopped tomatoes and basil leaves.
  3. Cook until the tomatoes release all the juice.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Spend everything with the magic wand until mashed.
  6. Add water gradually until desired consistency is achieved.
  7. Boil for a few more minutes.
  8. Serve hot or cold and garnish with basil leaves.
