“Eating You Alive,” the upcoming documentary by Paul David Kennamer Jr., is an in-depth look at Americans’ diets and the ways that what we’re eating affects our health.

The movie looks at the health problems faced by Americans and links it to unhealthy diets filled with animal products and processed food.

“Eating You Alive” features interviews with experts like Michael Greger, Dean Ornish, Neal Barnard, and more.

“You can tell what a person is eating by the plaque in their arteries,” says Dr. Evan Allen in the film.

“We’ve had the cure for decades… but thousands of people continue to die from this preventable, treatable, reversible disease,” says Dr. Greger.

Kennamer’s documentary explores how Americans can improve their health and prevent a wide variety of health issues with a plant-based, whole-food diet.

“Eating You Alive” will be in theaters April 5.
