Meet Moses, an adorable baby sloth who once faced a grim death.

He fell from a tree at birth and was abandoned by his mother. Then, thanks to an intuitive dog who found him, Moses, got the chance for survival.

Embarking on a four-hour journey, human rescuers brought Moses to the Sloth Sanctuary of Costa Rica after their dog initially found him.

Judy and her team at the sanctuary brought Moses in for treatment and care.

They noticed that Moses’ umbilical cord was still attached to him, leaving Judy to guess that this baby sloth was only two days old.

Judy and her team took very good care of Moses.

 The vet gave little Moses some fluids to boost his hydration.

 They checked his vital signs; his respiration was a bit fast, but still clear.

The next day, Moses was eating well.

 Three weeks later, Moses is still happy and doing well!
