This is the reality that’s facing thousands of families across the U.S. and Canada, who are being asked to lease their land to oil companies to make room for the Keystone XL Pipeline. Regardless on where you stand on the issue of natural gas, it is so important for us to take a step back and actually weigh the cost that installing this massive funnel (for lack of a better word) will have on the planet and our future livelihood.
Oil companies have done a great job at making this issue an economic one, but it is time to look at this as a human issue and an animal issue.
