Not all heroes wear capes – some wear harnesses and rescue animals. While this rescue was conducted by professionals, plenty of regular people save animals, too.
It’s unclear exactly how this lone sheep ended up on a cliffside, but she certainly was lucky that a compassionate group of humans came to her rescue! The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA), the organization responsible for bringing the sheep back to solid ground, isn’t new to rescuing animals, but that’s not to say that this rescue wasn’t a challenge for them! Could you imagine having to scale a cliff while also balancing the weight of a sheep?!
Sheep are typically raised for wool, which can be surprisingly harmful, and many people think these animals are unintelligent and lead boring lives. As it turns out, sheep are one of the many farm animals who are actually quite smart! In fact, some sheep have even discovered a way to outsmart cattle grids. While this little one clearly has anything but a boring life, she’s probably glad that her cliffside adventure is over!
