When Nandi the adorable baby rhinoceros was found, she was a scared little girl who had just lost her mother to poaching. Terrified and starving, she was eating sand to survive! Thankfully The Wild Heart Wildlife Foundation stepped in as her hero and rescued her from this dismal state.
As the above video shows, Nandi is now thriving at the rescue, enjoying her morning walks with her devoted caretaker and new best friend, Mewie the orange Tabby. Prancing safely and running free after her new friends, Nandi’s smile can be seen on her adorable face! An unlikely duo, this rhino and kitty best friend pair prove to us that all creatures great and small have the ability to coexist together.
As the largest herbivore on the planet, it is no surprise baby rhinos are naturally peaceful and gentle creatures, and their fight for survival is our struggle as well. Though there have been recent progressive steps toward public awareness and change, the fight is far from over. Rescue organizations like The Wild Heart Wildlife Foundation are in constant need of Support to carry on their cause.
If you have been moved by Nandi’s touching story, please consider donating to them and spreading the word with your friends and family.

Every day there are so many places helping animals that ask for help. I know they need the money and I so wish I could give to every single one of them. They can not see me but i feel sad as can not give to all of them.
