Three of the orphaned baby elephants residing at The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust rescue in Kenya recently made a big move. Having outgrown the nursery, Oltaiyoni, Kamok, and Roi graduated to the reintegration unit in Ithumba. There, they will learn to live together with other elephants and make progress necessary for their future full journey back into the wild.
The new little elephants were met with a heart-warming welcome from their old friends from the nursery, who had already traveled to Ithumba. Their friends looked more than happy to see them and eager to comfort them in the new situation. Afterward, the three elephant babies met other residents of the reintegration unit and started to make new friends.
Oltaiyoni, Kamok, Roi, and their friends are orphaned elephants rescued by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, a successful elephant rescue and rehabilitation program and Conservation organizations for wildlife and habitat protection in East Africa. You can help them with their amazing work by donating or even fostering one of the elephants!

So sweet for the new arrivals to get such a warm welcome! And kudos to all those who work so hard to care for all the orphans.
