We do love a before and after story where we get to see a dog recovering from the worst time in their life!
Animal Aid Unlimited works hard to save hundreds of dogs like Ray, and you can see from this video just how thankful this beautiful little boy is. Mange is an awful, painful infection that leaves dogs in continuous torment from constant scratching just trying to get a little relief. And the most heartbreaking thing is how often mange is left untreated, when it is clear from Ray’s progress just how quickly dogs can be treated for this condition.
It must have been so frightening for poor little Ray to allow his rescuers to check him over and apply the treatment that would turn his mange infection around. Yet his tail never stopped wagging! Seeing him standing so easily for his bath shows that love and trust he developed with the Animal Aid Unlimited team. And to see his happy hugs and cuddles with his beautiful mange-free fur just a short time later puts the biggest smiles on our faces.
Animal Aid Unlimited rescues between 15 and 25 injured or sick animals from the streets in Udaipur, India every day, saving hundreds of lives like Ray’s. Their compassion for the street animals who would otherwise be left to fend for themselves alone without food, shelter, or protection, makes our hearts melt every time we see a new video. We have to do everything we can to Support them doing this vital work.
