Dogs are truly incredible animals. They show unconditional love to their guardians, they get excited over life’s simplest pleasures, and they are some of the fiercest warriors when it comes to trauma. We’ve seen dogs rescued from cruel puppy mills smile again, we’ve seen pups rescued from meat farms learn to love again, and we’ve seen dogs on the brink of death bounce back with an amazing amount of energy.
Cola, the pup in the video, has also had his fair share of heartache. Cola had his front two legs cruelly hacked off with a sword because he chewed a neighbor’s shoes. Thankfully, after a few months of recovery, the poor pup was adopted by the folks at Soi Dog Foundation. Wanting Cola to experience the best possible life, they decided to deck him out with prosthetic limbs.
From the looks of it, this puppy still needs some time getting used to them, but he sure does look happy about the whole situation! The way he licks and kisses the hands of his caretakers and dashes around the room excitedly truly warms our heart. We wish you nothing but the best, Cola!
