Paralyzed Pug Wags Tail for First Time in Months in Amazing Video

Portrait of a pug laying on bed

A paralyzed Pug has gone viral for a simple action with a big meaning. Puggy has lived with his human since he was only 2 months old. They quickly came to adore the small dog with a big personality. However, roughly a year ago Puggy was diagnosed with myelopathy. This spinal condition caused Puggy to become paralyzed from the waist down.

MIRACLES DO HAPPEN!!🥹 Puggy has been paralysed for 6 months and unable to wag his tail, today we introduced him to an incredible dog bed and it’s clear see how much he loved it! 🥰 This side sleeping pet nest from @Pup & Kit is as much of a gift to us humans as it is for Puggy. We havnt slept well in months as Puggy needs round the clock care and has taken over the big bed. But now he can sleep right by our side and feel safe and secure! ♥️ Thanks, you’ll never know how much this means to us. 🫶🏼 #puggysmalls #dogsoftiktok #pugs #happy

A powerful video, posted to the TikTok account @thepuggysmalls shows the paralyzed Pug wagging his tail while testing out his new bed for the first time. Although this small action may seem insignificant, to Puggy’s humans it was nothing short of a miracle. The bed allows the pup to sleep elevated next to his humans at night. Puggy’s tail wag showed his humans just how excited he was for his new bed.

The video had a positive reception on TikTok. People offered lots of Support for Puggy and hoped that he would enjoy his new bed. One comment left on the video reads “This is amazing what a beautiful tail wag.”
