We just love seeing interspecies friendships. As humans, we tend to assume that animals of different species won’t get along, or that they are genetically dispositioned not to. Just think about it – we assume cats and dogs hate one another, despite the fact that we see cats and dogs happily residing under the same roof all the time!
Here we have a set of interspecies friends that clearly pay no mind to the fact that they have “no business” being friends. The lamb and rhino in this video are both orphaned animals that have been rescued by Hoedspruit Endangered Species Center in South Africa. Gertjie, the rhino, and Lammie, the lamb, love chasing one another around the premise of the center. It is clear that fun is the number one priority for these friends. wWho cares that they’re not the same species!?
