Frustrated by the inexplicable movement of their furniture, a couple decided to take matters into their own hands by setting up a security camera. The surprising results were revealed in a video posted on Instagram by @the.honorable.aussies on May 3.

The footage offers a clear view of the couple’s open-concept kitchen and living room, where the mystery of the moving furniture was finally solved. The culprits? The family’s two energetic Australian shepherds.

The playful pooches were caught in the act, joyfully racing back and forth between the rooms. Their antics included jumping on and off the couch, using it as a springboard during their high-speed chases. With each leap, the couch gradually slid further back across the hardwood floor, unbeknownst to the dogs.

Focused solely on their play, the shepherds appeared unfazed by their unintentional furniture rearranging. Their parents, while amused, were initially concerned about the unexpected redecorating. However, they’ve embraced the situation humorously, even offering their dogs’ services as movers in exchange for treats, as stated in the video’s caption: “We’re available for hire—will work for treats.”
