This Mama Cat’s Reaction to a Newborn Puppy Will Melt Your Heart! (VIDEO)

Like human children, kittens and puppies need the care of their mothers in order to thrive. However, in the absence of a mother, these little animals need a foster parent. Sometimes people step in to help with feeding and basic care but providing the love and constant care that these babies really need is a job relegated to a different type of mom, a foster dog or cat mother.

In this video, a kind cat mama steps up to take care of a newborn puppy. At this young age, puppies can’t regulate their own body temperatures, that’s where the cat’s snuggles come in handy. It’s as if the mother cat intuitively knows that it is her job to help raise this little pup and she takes on the task with great enthusiasm. Her initial reaction to her foster baby is just too precious!
