Every kid has had a bad nightmare. And what is the first thing you do when that happens? You get in your parent’s bed! Parents know exactly what to do when their little ones are scared, especially when the threat is only in the imagination.
This mama cat is definitely a good parent. Her little kitten is having a bad dream (someone might be stealing his toy, or the red dot from earlier is back to seek revenge). She has no problem hugging her adorable baby close and letting him know it is going to be all right.
After a while of holding he baby close, the kitten is still wriggling from his dream. Mama places her paw gently over his face, and he finally settles down. Not the most common way to quiet a baby, but whatever works! This mother cat seems like she knows the drill and is ready to help her kitten grow up strong and brave, facing all the red dots life throws his way.
Oh god that is so sweet and so cute and I never thought of just muzzling the baby when he cries LOL … this is really sweet.
