So, you’re minding your own business, sitting quietly at home, when suddenly a stranger barges into your house! And surprise! The stranger has four legs, big fluffy ears, and gray fur. It’s a koala!
You can hear it in the woman’s voice in the video. To call it shock would be an understatement. She’s stunned and not sure how to proceed. Her house and privacy have been invaded, but… the invader is just so freakin’ cute. What can you do in a situation like that? You can’t chase such a cutie out of your house, you don’t want to scare the precious little thing. You can’t even speak harshly to a koala without feeling cruel. I mean, just look at that face!
Luckily, all it takes is a few soft words, and a gentle gesture toward the door, and this little koala finds her way out the front door again. It’s an amazing animal encounter but one that might not happen in the future if we don’t protect our planet and the environment that koalas depend on.

Just for the record, and as an Australian, I have to let you know that koala\’s aren\’t bears. They are marsupials.
