If you grew up with a sibling, then you understand the many perils and sticky situations that come along with this experience. If you were the neat one, having to deal with your “free-spirited” sibling’s constant messes AKA “art projects” was a daily chore. But no matter how difficult or frustrating that may have been, you learned to compromise and navigate life with a person who is different from you just fine.
The little kitten in this video is having a similar sort of experience growing up with a giant Golden Retriever best friend. While we know that cats and dogs aren’t polar opposites, there are some traits and behaviors that we see in our cats that aren’t necessarily paralleled in our dog friends. For example, our cats like to be left alone sometimes and are very particular about which toy they play with and when. Dogs, on the other hand, are down to play and love on their humans 24/7.
Rather than having a traditional cat upbringing, this little kitty is learning what it means to hang with the dogs. Some of the life skills she has to learn include how to be messy when eating, drooling, and what it means to properly chase a tail. From the looks of it, we’d say this little cat is doing just fine – plus, as an added bonus, her best friend makes for the perfect napping companion.
