Nothing like a nice dip in the pool to herald that the heart of summer is here. Pools don’t just fill themselves, though. They are high-maintenance to keep clean and full, which is why many Southern California residents have pool men that routinely clean their sparkling waters. A human pool sometimes presents a bit of a task for our canine friends. The chlorine, the depth of the water, the length of the pool … these factors can all be a bit much for these four legged guys, depending on their size.
Maddie, the pup in this video, has taken the easy option and aimed for the inflatable kiddie pool! It provides just enough water to cool off and is easy to fill … well, kind of. While Maddie seems to have the right idea, she almost seems too excited to finish the job! She’s moving around like she’s got the sun in her eyes while trying to wash a car! It might take a while, but eventually the six-year-old labrador is going to get her dip, reckless waving of the hose or not!
