One dog named Mocha is an example of how much grief dogs can feel. In a video posted to the TikTok account @nicoleevans, Mocha can be seen sitting on the floor staring at a memorial with several pictures displayed. The pictures are of her human who passed away. The text overlay on the video shares the story. It reads, “We lost our oldest son two years and 43 days ago. This is his dog Mocha. She is sitting there looking at his pictures.”

Viewers expressed an outpouring of Support for the grieving dog and family. “I’m sorry for your loss. I know she has to miss him too. sending hugs to both of you.” wrote one TikTok user. The heartbreaking video has been liked 42,000 times on TikTok.
