Girl Says Hi to Neighbor Cat Named Binx Every Day on Her Walks [Video]

Black and white cat walking on the cement

In March 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, a mother and daughter began taking daily walks around the neighborhood. It wasn’t long before they met Binx, a neighbor’s cat who loved to greet them each day. Binx took to the daughter quickly and started greeting her as soon as he saw her coming.

“He became a sweet friend to her during such isolating times with no kids to play with,” @thecolorfulmother wrote in her TikTok video.

They continued to be close with Binx in the following years, and he would even come to visit them at their house. Unfortunately, one day when they were walking, they saw a for sale sign on Binx’s home.

In a sweet and heartbreaking clip, the daughter, now much older than she was in 2020, said goodbye to Binx for the last time. We know even farther apart now, Binx and the family will cherish their friendship.
