Meet Clarice, Animal Rescue Team of Solvang, California’s newest arrival. This adorable baby lamb arrived at the rehabilitation center at just four days old and from tragic circumstances.
On Feb. 12, 2014, the team was notified of neglected animals on a property via their hotline. When they arrived at the property, they unfortunately discovered a number of animals that had passed away. Many of the dead animals had frozen to death, except for Clarice who was the lone survivor.
Clarice was only four days old at the time, neither her mother nor her twin survived. However, since Clarice has been rescued, she has been getting the best care possible. As you can see in the video below, a tragic start to life hasn’t stopped her wonderful curiosity for the world.
According to the Animal Rescue Team’s Facebook page, on the Feb. 17, Clarice was placed in an animal hospital for the night due to her neglected condition. She pulled through the night but still needs your thoughts and prayers. Let’s hope this adorable baby makes it through so she can discovered the world even more, just like in the video.
Animal Rescue Team’s mission is to provide “rescue, treatment, rehabilitation and release to ALL sick, injured, orphaned and displaced animals in accordance with current standards in the field.” To Support Clarice and other animals consider making a donation to Animal Rescue Team.
