The phrase “fighting like cats and dogs” really needs an update. Sure, there still are dogs who chase poor tabbies and calicos with a passion, and many cats still have a penchant for giving nosy pups a punch on the nose. But when we stack all the stories about cat-and-dog pairs who simply cannot go a minute without each other, this old idiom starts to get seriously shaky.

Suzie and Tina Merlot do not help the linguistic purists’ case at all. Tina, a baby foster kitten, found her best friend in the whole world in Suzie the dog.

For now, however, before the time for adoption comes, Tina is more than happy with Suzie – her very big sister.

Once they met, it was more than clear these two would make a seriously great pair.

It did not take long before Tina started to explore her new foster home – and with the help of Suzie, this exploration will surely yield even better results!

Suzie and Tina prove once again that dogs and cats not only can live together in harmony but often absolutely love each other and spending time together. The kitty will surely learn many things from her wonderful dog caretaker and buddy and go into the world with her little head and tail up high in confidence!
