Five Overlooked Dogs Finally Find Forever Homes After Being Featured in TikTok Clip

With shelters across the country experiencing overcrowding, many heartbreaking stories have emerged about animals in shelters facing extended stays while they wait for their forever homes. The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region in Colorado has shared several posts to their TikTok account featuring dogs who have been waiting for their new human without any luck. One such post featured five dogs who had not received interest or visitors during their stay. A video shows them in their kennels at the shelter.

 The five dogs, Brady, Nala, Cinnamon, Thor, and Baloney Sandwich all peer through the kennel bars seeming excited to receive attention from the filmer. The length of their stays varied. Brady had been at the shelter for 11 days with no interest, while Nala had been there for 29. Unfortunately, dogs with special requirements, such as high energy or senior dogs, may have a more difficult time finding homes.

  Luckily though, there is a happy ending to these five dogs’ stories. According to an update from the Humane Society of Pikes Peak, all five dogs featured in the video have found homes to call their own! Now, they are finally out of the shelter and able to receive all the love and attention they deserve.
