Demand Justice for Blind and Deaf Dogs Who Were Abandoned for 16 Days Without Food or Water!

A Cobb County, Georgia woman named Ashley Marie Davis is being charged with two counts of aggravated cruelty to animals and two counts of abandonment of a domesticated animal after she left two dogs alone without food or water for sixteen days.

The two innocent victims of this horrendous crime are Lucky, an adult Boxer-mix who is deaf, and Simpson, an adult American Bulldog who is blind.

Lucky was placed in Davis’ home as a foster on November 11, 2017, when he was a healthy fifty pounds. After Lucky missed a vet appointment, the animal rescuers visited Davis’ house to find the poor starving dog in a crate in the rain. He was barely alive and was pure skin and bones. After this heartbreaking story went viral, the animal shelter who adopted out Simpson to Davis expressed their concern. When rescuers returned to the house, they found Simpson stumbling over in a similar emaciated condition as Lucky.

Thankfully, these precious pups survived, but the fight for justice for them is not over. A petition on Care2 is calling on animal lovers everywhere to demand that Davis is convicted of all her charges and receives the maximum punishment allowed by the law.
