Rescuers from Animal Aid Unlimited got a call about a critically injured dog so they immediately set out to help. They found the animal hiding with a massive wound on his side, a wound so deep they could hear the air coming out of it! The pain must have been unbearable and the rescue team was very unsure if he would make it.
The dog, who is now named Tony, was immediately brought to the rescue for care and they soon learned the hole was so deep it caused the partial collapse of his lungs.
When he was found, Tony was on the brink of death, but thanks to the emergency surgery and weeks of care, something unbelievable happened … he not only survived but transformed into a playful, happy, and healthy dog!
