Oh, Animal Aid Unlimited, will you ever stop both breaking our hearts and making us cry happy tears at the same time? We doubt it very much, and we thank you for it!

Animal Aid Unlimited has been helping street animals since 2002, caring for more than 45,000 to date, equating to anywhere between 15 and 25 dogs a day. They have been caring for these homeless and abandoned animals for 18 years now, yet Udaipur, where they are based, is still filled with street animals.

Every story we see from Animal Aid like Stella’s here, we think is capturing another poor animal’s final moments. But through sheer determination, medical care, and around-the-clock love, these animals are transformed. And when you see the gratitude of these animals towards their carers at the end of these videos, well, if it doesn’t restore just a little faith in humanity for you, we don’t know what you are watching.

Animal Aid’s compassion for street animals is inspiring. Who else would take a call, drop everything, and rescue these dogs, cats, and other animals from the street thinking only of giving them the best of care? These animals, without this incredible help, would die alone and suffering, unable to forage for food because they are too sick or weak and unable to defend themselves because they haven’t the strength.
