Gaspar, the featured cow, was rescued from the animal agriculture industry. Although he looks like a total mush now, this wasn’t always the case. Santuario Igualdad Interespecie rescued Gaspar a few months before he was going to be killed. At first, he was deathly afraid of people because he only associated them with cruelty, but over time he learned to trust and even love the new kind people who surrounded him.
The video we see is the product of months of tender love and care … and we’d definitely say that the hard work was worth it! Look at him, he’s like a giant puppy! It’s hard to think that this cow was so fearful of humans just a short while ago.
