The Shivdurga ResQ Lonavala Team was recently contacted about a cow who had been injured near a railway track in Khandala, India after being hit by a passing train. The accident left the unfortunate animal completely unable to stand up and move from the dangerous spot where she had railway tracks on both sides of her. The only way to help the immobile cow was to somehow pick her up and take her to a safe place.
After assessing the situation, the rescuers decided to lift the animal with the help of a big net. Thanks to the invaluable help of the big-hearted people who gathered round to assist at the rescue, the team managed to arrange a net, lift the cow, and take her away from the train tracks! The animal was then transported to Gaushala to receive all the medical treatment and care she needed.
