Is that the dinner bell? Nope, that’s just a bird singing her own original song, “Dinner Time,” for her friend the dog. What do you think? Is her song about to go platinum?
Who knows, maybe she’s not even just a friendly singing bird, maybe she’s a bird behavior scientist and the dog is just her test subject! One wonders if she ever sings it in other situations just to see if her doggy friend will salivate like one of Pavlov’s dogs!
In any case, it’s a lucky dog who gets to be serenaded during his dinner. But this pair is just one of many animal odd couples. In fact, inter-species friendships are surprisingly common in the animal world. Though, perhaps it shouldn’t surprise us. After all, we develop strong bonds with pets of a wide range of species and breeds, why shouldn’t the same be true of the animals themselves?

I just absolutely adore this video…I know ppl on youtube have made some sad comments about the bird maybe bothering the dog and the voice of the bird disrupting the dog due to its high pitch so that\’s why the dog left and gave up eating. Also, many poeple did say it is dangerous for a dog to be that close to the the bird as they do not get along and then they proceeded to post many horror stories of feathers in dogs mouths beacuse they ate the bird. Regardless of all of this, I do love how the bird sings to the dog and even follows the dog\’s head movements trying to get the point across…she still walks way singing like…that\’s okay, I will just try another day!:) The owner of this bird and dog must get days like this all the time and must never get bored of the delight these two animals bring.:)))
