Beastie Boys MC Ad-Rock Designs Vegan Sneakers to Benefit Planned Parenthood
It’s getting cold out and the famous MC Ad-Rock is feeling especially chilled this winter. “Given the outcome of our current election, it’s gonna get a lot colder before we can feel that summer sun again.” In an attempt to keep our feet warm and our spirits up. Ad-Rock is partnering with Keep, an L.A. based vegan sneaker company, and Planned Parenthood to put out some winter boots.
The Ad-Rock explains: “Net proceeds of this shoe will be donated to Planned Parenthood because I Support a woman’s right to choose and feel that women should not be punished for making decisions about their own lives and bodies.” Needless to say – the sneakers are dope.
Ad-Rock and Keep have pulled out all the stops on these babies. They are a practical and stylish take on a classic mid-top. They are designed water-resistant, nylon cordura that’s lined with synthetic shearling to keep your feet dry and stuffed with synthetic down to keep your feet warm. The shoes also come with a set of black laces and a set of magenta ones so you can tailor them to your style. All of Keep’s shoes are designed with the hope that the object will be imbued with memories of the things we do while wearing them, but this specific pair has been made with a message of hope and equality stitched into its fabric. Let’s keep that in mind as we are wearing them.

Everyone on here bitchin and agrging about abortions. 3% of what PP does is abortions. The rest if just female care. Pap smears, birth control, breat exams. For you idiots who cant math, thats 97% prenatal and female care. They give sonograms and prenatal vitamins to women who cant afford them. This is a place women go to get prenatal care when they cant afford it.
