Lance, the donkey in this video, once lived as a working donkey who was tasked with carrying heavy loads day in and day out. After suffering through this, and the cruelty from the person who was supposed to look after him, poor sad Lance was found abandoned on the streets in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. This donkey was discovered with a rope tied so tightly to his leg that it was cutting into his flesh and had created an enormous wound. 

Luckily for him, he was found by the good people at Animal Aid Unlimited. For the millions of homeless, injured and unwanted animals wandering the streets of India, this amazing rescue organization is their only hope. After treating his wounds and helping his pain, they were able to give Lance the greatest gift of all, a new life at the Bonnie Christopher Forever Home For Donkeys. Soon, this sad little guy was all healed and having fun, romping with the other donkeys, showing us all how just a bit of kindness can actually save a life.
