“Dubai’s First” Vegan-Friendly Hotel Rooms Open!

Mandarin Oriental Hotel

NH Collection Dubai The Palm has proudly announced the launch of the city’s very first vegan-friendly hotel rooms, catering to the rapidly growing demand for more sustainable and compassionate accommodation options. These innovative rooms are redefining the traditional luxury hotel experience by embracing a vegan and eco-conscious philosophy.

The vegan-friendly rooms at NH Collection Dubai The Palm offer guests a unique blend of comfort, style, and environmental responsibility. They feature a range of amenities and services that are designed to minimize environmental impact and cater to the preferences of vegan and eco-conscious travelers.

One of the standout features of these rooms is the sustainable, animal-free bedding. Guests can rest easy knowing that the linens and pillows in these rooms are entirely cruelty-free, aligning with a vegan lifestyle. Additionally, guests can enjoy an array of vegan snacks provided in the room, allowing for a guilt-free indulgence during their stay.

Environmental responsibility is a key focus, and the rooms feature a variety of eco-friendly dry amenities. These include compostable shower caps and sanitary bags, all packaged in natural, plastic-free materials. Wet amenities are also in line with the vegan and eco-friendly ethos, free from animal ingredients and never tested on animals. Moreover, they are free from gluten, sulfates, and parabens, ensuring the well-being of both guests and the environment.

The hotel also takes a comprehensive approach to sustainability, going beyond just the rooms. The building itself boasts eco-friendly features such as solar panels for water heating and a system to reuse condensed water from the air conditioning for irrigation. There is even an in-house water bottling plant, which eliminates the need for single-use plastic water bottles, contributing to the reduction of plastic waste.

NH Collection Dubai The Palm’s initiative to offer vegan-friendly rooms is not the first of its kind in the United Arab Emirates. Earlier in the year, the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi unveiled its vegan-friendly rooms, complete with leather-free furniture, a vegan minibar, and sustainable wooden key cards. Impressively, these rooms are offered at the same price as the hotel’s conventional suites, dispelling the notion that sustainable and compassionate options must come at a premium.
