Even though Texas is the top producer of solar energy in the United States, Republican legislators in the Lone Star State have introduced several bills that would restrict wind and solar energy production and assist oil and gas production. It seems these Republicans favor small government and fewer regulations only when it suits their interests. Please sign this petition to urge Republican legislators to Support green energy projects instead of opposing them!
