Trans-Alaskan oil pipeline in the north slope of alaska

The U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is preparing to open the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska (NPR-A) to oil and gas drilling. This vast reserve is the largest public land in the U.S., home to polar bears, migratory birds, and fragile Arctic ecosystems. Yet protections are now on the chopping block, with up to 82% of the area at risk of industrialization and destruction.

This is more than just an attack on wildlife and Indigenous communities—it’s a direct assault on the planet. Fossil fuel expansion in the Arctic will accelerate Climate change, fueling extreme heat, droughts, wildfires, hurricanes, and floods. Roads, rigs, and Pollution will rip apart pristine landscapes, all for the profit of oil giants.

We must act now. Sign the petition to demand the BLM halt this reckless plan and keep full protections for the NPR-A. The Arctic—and the Earth—depend on it.
